Scooby Doo! Where are you!

Grayson has been keeping busy as usual. Last week was Palmer's 4th birthday party and they also moved over the weekend. Very sad to see them go but I know we will all stay close. Grayson hasn't walked down to their former house yet looking for Palmer and Lily. Palmer's party was all about Scooby Doo!! Yea! Grayson has also made a few stops to the Children's Museum. Grandma went with us this last time. Grandma bought Grayson a new Curious George book in the gift shop that is really neat. Grayson loves that monkey!

Grayson has also made trips to the library, that is always a fun free treat! He loves looking at the aquarium there and playing with the Lego table and counting steps as we walk up and down. He is getting really good with counting and ABC's. Daddy has been teaching him to count in Spanish. Grayson and Daddy flew their Spider Man kite the other day. I think Marc enjoyed it as much if not more than Grayson. Playing outside again had been so nice. Grayson now has a really nice swing set to play on thanks to Palmer and Lily. We are keeping it for the season. It is the one we want to buy so that works out great. We get to try it before we buy it. :) We already new we liked it from playing down at Palmer's.

We made a trip to the zoo yesterday. It was perfect! The weather could not have been any better. We began our adventure by petting the sharks. Grayson just loves that. We went by the petting farm and then to the desert. We observed the pretty flowers in bloom and fed the birds. We will be making many more trips with our pass this year. We will frequent it as much as we do the museum, until it gets really hot. But, they are adding a splash pad to the zoo. Fun! :) Grayson is at Mother's Day Out right now so I thought I would play a little catch up on blogging. Macie (our dog) got a walk all to herself today. It was a treat. Grayson is usually with us and these days, setting in the stroller to walk has not been a favorite. He is really good with walking and holding my hand, so I pretty much just let him walk where ever we go and bring the stroller or wagon (which he insists upon pulling) as back up in case he wants to rest.

Marc is getting ready to open up his Qdoba so things will get a little crazy around here for about a month or so. He will be working really hard getting that off and going. He will be at the new mall out here. Enjoy this weather and don't forget your sun screen! :)

The Easter Bunny Rock!

Wow! The month of March has come and gone. We celebrated Grandma's birthday. Grayson was all to excited to blow out the candles and open her cards and presents! We have actually been playing outside again here and there. All the gang is out and about again, romping around! :) Grayson has been enjoying his normal play dates. We went to 'That Fun Place' in Greenfield for pizza and games. It was busy for once with some of the schools already out for break.

Grayson also made a trip to the Children's Museum. The staircase was a slide again...Vacation Nation' they called it. Grayson got some sun glasses too! He loves Curious George as you can see. We had to make our normal stop at Play Scape! It was nice to be able to go again without worrying if Grayson would catch something from some other kid who was sick. We are finally over all of that! At least we have only had colds on a positive note accompanied with an ear infection.

Grayson loved Easter even more this year! He had so much fun coloring eggs. He wanted to do it all by himself. On Easter morning, Grayson was excited to go downstairs and see what the bunny had brought him. Finding hidden Easter eggs was even more fun. The Easter Bunny even made a trip to Grandpa and Grandma's with a special basket!

Well, we have a musician in the family. Grayson! and is he a natural. My parents have a drum set at their house that is made for toddlers. The last time we visited, Grandpa brought it up form the basement. Grayson hopped on there and played like he had been doing it for years. He even knew how to work the kick drum. He played a round and then stood up and bowed. How he knew that, I will never now but it was about the cutest thing I have ever seen. He was so proud of his concert performance, he even came back for the encore! He is our August Rush.

Grayson also got another hair cut. He does so well I am proud to say and thankful! We actually had them use the clippers not just around the neck and ears but all over (except the top). He looks like such a big boy even more so! Well, that is about it for now! Off to play and catch up on Arthur.
