Cousins Rule!

Grayson had fun on Thanksgiving! He liked playing with his cousins from Monticello, IN. Grayson especially liked Kinnedy. He thought she was funny and cute. Grayson was looking forward to spending time with Gram and Paw-Paw. They have so many fun things to do over at their house and they give him lots of love and attention. Which everyone one knows he is NOT lacking in that area!

On Friday we stayed around the house after we went to lunch since Marc had to work that evening. He had a booth for his store set up with cookies, coffee and hot chocolate since the lighting of the Christmas Tree was on the circle and as you all know, that is where his store is (the Chase Towers). We use to go for the festivities but it is not very toddler friendly with all the crowds and it is way past his bed time.

Saturday, I went to my Grandmother's 85th birthday party for a bit while Grayson was napping. It was kind of nice not worrying about chasing him all over but to just sit and visit. I did miss them though. It was nice to see my cousins that are my age on the Callaway side of the family I had not seen in awhile. That evening, we went to church. Grayson got to visit with Jack! Once he saw Jack in the giraffe room, everything was better. We were OK to leave him.

When Grayson wakes up from his nap, we are putting up the Christmas Tree:) We enjoyed our long weekend! It was nice and relaxing!

One Little Indian Boy!

Grayson is getting ready to visit Gram and Papa's for a turkey feast! HE has been cooking all morning. Play dough cake and cookies! What a treat! He made some cupcakes also! Grayson has had fun playing with Jack several times this week! Jack came over Monday and Grayson went to his house on Wednesday! Kriste made him lunch.. how nice! Grayson has been wearing his hat he made at school around the house and at breakfast. He is so pumped up that daddy is home for the next 5 days! WOW!!! When Grayson and Iwent to the store yesterday, he got all excited when he saw cupcakes!! He just had to get some. We made them when we got home and as you can see by the icing all over his face he loves them.

Happy Turkey Day!! Gobble! Gobble!

Sundays Fundays!

Grayson went to the Children's Museum today. We wanted to see the new exhibit, 'Children Making a Difference.' Grayson is always up for a visit to the museum! The exhibit is really amazing but be sure to bring along some tissue!! It is good to remember our mistakes and learn from them! Jolly days are coming up at the museum and we can't wait for that to begin!!! We plan on going at the beginning of December. The polar bear will be there to great everyone as they walk in the door. Santa is also stopping by. The stair case in the lobby is turned into a giant slide!:) WoW!! The tree is already decorated and snow flakes are hanging from the ceiling. Grayson is lucky that his mom and dad get just as excited about the museum as he does! Grayson and daddy had fun playing on the slide in the mummy's tomb. They were tomb raiders!

Grayson got a sand and water table recently that we filled with rice. He had the best time playing with daddy in it. It made a bit of a mess but that's what being a kid is all about! They have one at his school too so we knew he would enjoy it! Grayson's vocab just keeps expanding. He likes to tell me we are going to have a "GOOD DAY." He also like saying, "Good Luck." His latest is, "I don't know!" When he destroys his train set, I'll ask him if he did that and his reply is, "Macie," our dog. What a character!

Who Loves Lettuce!

Our boy sure does! We went to Texas Roadhouse the other day and Grayson just loved it. It is my favorite and it would only be natural that it would be Grayson's also. He is just like his mother! Some day, his wife will thank me! As you can see, he is eating salad and feeding it to me. Great photo huh!:)

Last week, Grayson went to PLay Alot with our play gang and bowled for the first time! He didn't want to stop! He loved throwing the ball as you can only imagine! He wasn't sure where the ball was going and how he would get it back! At play group yesterday, we went to Bounce Zone. We haven't been since it first opened so that was a treat! Holly is in the pink dance tutu, is she cute or what!

Tuesday was so lovely out, we headed for the Zoo but first we had to stop by and have lunch at Marc's work..Yum, Yum!!! Grayson loved visiting his one and only hero at work! He loves his daddy! It was such a great day for the zoo! Grayson pet the sharks. He couldn't get enough! We actually saw the loin, he never comes out but with the weather being so nice he paid everyone a visit!

We met up with Jack a few times. We gave Jack his birthday present and played for a bit. Those two act like brothers when they are together, feeding off one another and trying to show off. They just make me laugh. We also went to church with Matt, Kriste and Jack last Saturday evening and just loved it! Marc and I were very impressed! Grayson loved playing with Jack in the giraffe room. Drop off was a bit difficult but he had fun! Afterwards, we all had dinner. Kriste's parents came to church also. It was nice to see them. Kriste sings in the choir this Saturday. We look forward to returning! Grandpa and Grandma came over on Sunday to play with Grayson. He played with his trains that he can't get enough of. They also took us to dinner, that was nice! Grandma came over on Monday to play and watch Grayson while I had an appointment. I'm sure he had fun! Getting ready for Turkey Day! Hope everyone has a good day of Thanks!

First Hair Cut!!!

On Saturday, Grayson got his first hair cut. It is official, he no longer looks like a baby now that his curls are gone! It was time though! Without hair products (which Grayson loves) it was getting bushy. Grayson did much better than we ever expected! He watched Marc get his hair cut and then it was his turn. Grayson sat on Marc's lap while she cut his hair. He even let her use the clippers which I thought would never happen and yes, we got 'The First Curl.' He keeps saying, "Hair Cut!"

Last evening, we met Grandpa and Grandma for pizza. Grayson had fun b/c they think every thing he does is just wonderful, even when he screams! We had a busy day today also. We got 2yr pictures taken and Christmas photos! The photographer said Grayson was too cute how he kept posing for her. She said he posed like a little model. We thought that was pretty funny, our little ham! We also spent some time at the park since the weather was so great! Grayson will be sad tomorrow when Marc returns to work! He just loves playing with Daddy!!! His new thing is his cars, trains along with the track and his power tools! All great presents he got for his birthday!

Happy Halloween!

Trick or Treat, that is the question? Grayson had so much fun this year. We all went out together. Holly, Palmer and Lily and Grayson went together through the neighborhood. Grayson carried his bucket up to houses and collected his treats. He had so much fun running all over the place! We did too. Later he helped Daddy pass out candy. This year was very different from the last! Grayson was really into it, as you can see!:)

Zoo Boo Everyone!!!

What an event! We just had to make it over to the Zoo for 'Zoo Boo!' We love it and it is just a blast. It is fun to see all the little kids in their costumes! Grayson had fun getting candy and playing on the jungle gym! He met a little friend that was dressed up as a poodle, she was so cute! We made it over to the party tent for the hay maze and some dancing with the DJ. We also watched the dolphin show fo r10 min. we thought that was a huge accomplishment to sit still that long. Grayson also fed the ducks while I took a up close photo of them!:)
