Swimming with friends!!

Grayson went swimming at Holly's Grandmas' house last week and had a blast. His friend's Palmer and Lilly were there also! He wore me out. Chasing him all over the place was a job in itself! Swimming in a big pool has taken on a whole new meaning this year. He no longer wants to be held in the water. He wants to do it himself, which he can't! He also doesn't care for the rings on his arms so he can float, so we stayed on the steps and played where he could be independent! We are excited to be taking another trip to swim again on Tuesday! Too much fun in the sun!

Grandma and Grandpa are finally back safely from Hawaii. They came and had lunch today with us. It was really nice to see them after an entire week of no Grandpa or Grandma. Grayson was all to excited to see them! Grayson also has a new word, "Stink." We are busy building our vocabulary these days.

Happy Mother's Day!

Grayson and Marc gave me another very special Mother's Day. What a wonderful day. I am so thankful to be a mother! It is the greatest gift God has given me! Being a family means so much to me and Marc! Marc made blueberry pancakes for us, mine and Grayson's favorite. We eat them just about every day! We went out for lunch to Long Horn Steak House. It was great and no wait! Yea!! The service was wonderful too! I also got flowers to plant outside, which we did last weekend to beat the rush.

After lunch, Grayson came home for a short nap and then we played outside a lot and went on a bike ride! They made the day very special! I thank God for both of them every day!

Surfs Up!!!

Grayson went swimming for the first time this season on Thursday in his pool in the back yard. He loves that water. We put on his swim socks and swim trunks and the adventure began. He had so much fun, he didn't want to come in and eat. He splashed around the outside of the pool at first and then got in the pool with his truck and dinosaur in hand. It was funny watching him jump in the pool and climb in and out and splash all around as he giggled with delight!

The picture of Grayson laying on Bailey, our cat is one of Grayson's daily routines. He just loves Bailey. Bailey is so good with him to let Grayson do that to him over and over.

Love Cars!

Grayson's favorite word has become car not only does he love the word, he is obsessed with cars! He loves cars rides. Imagine that... the baby who hated cars for so long and would scream every time we put him in it. Yesterday, we went to 'Cheese Burger In Paradise.' Grayson tried a french fry and loved it. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I guess moderation is the key, the worry wart that I am. Grayson has been extra lovey with Daddy. As you can see, he loves to be like Dady and wear Daddy's viser hat. He is constantly giving him hugs. It is so cute! Grayson also went on his first bike ride of the season. Fun! Fun!

Last night we actually went out for a date night. My friend Kriste was nice enough to come and sit with Grayson while we went to see a play... Spamalot. It was great and so nice to get all dressed up and have some grown up alone time.

Grandpa and Grandma got Grayson a truck and a tricycle that he rides around in the yard, he loves it and even makes cars noises when we push him in it. Today, Grayson has a play date with Jack. He seems pretty excited and pumped up. He doesn't seem to want to take a nap. That's what I get for telling him they are coming over before his nap. Grandpa and Grandma are in Hawaii... lucky! We hope they are having a great time and we miss them.

Boyz Rule!!!

Grayson got a new slide the other day and he just loves it. The rain has held off so he has been testing out the new toys in the backyard! Yesterday Grayson added something new to his menu... dirt! Our son actually ate some dirt!!! Yuck!!!! Go figure, he won't eat pizza but dirt, that's OK.

Today Grayson had fun playing with Daddy while I went and got my hair done. Daddy made us all breakfast. Grayson played with his friend Holly today and had a great time! He loves Holly and her Dora bike! He tried giving Holly hugs and then wrestling her as you can see from the picture, then they decided to draw on the driveway with sidewalk chalk. Palmer came down shortly after to join in the fun! What a busy day for Grayson, lots of fun!!!It is so nice to have such great friends and neighbors to play with!

Sunny Days

These are photos of Grayson playing around the house and outside with Daddy on Sunday. On Saturday, Grandma came over and had lunch with us at Qdoba (we still love to eat there). Then we went shopping for a bit but returned home shortly there after to play some more outside! Sunday was lots of fun...Daddy day!!! (or so Grayson thinks!) We did lots of yard work that day! Fun! Fun! We finished it early morning so the rest of the day was free for family day!

Yesterday, I had a doctor's appointment so Grandma came to watch Grayson. He did very well I am happy to say. I wasn't sure how he would react to some one else other than Marc or myself there when he woke up from his nap. But I did tell him Grandma would be here when he woke up. I am glad they had a good time. When I returned home, we went to for lunch at McAlister's! Yummy! Then as usual, Grayson and I headed home for some outside fun in the sun. I think I got a bit too much sun on my shoulders. Grayson also went down the street to visit his friend Palmer. Today, we are going for pictures and then to Clay Terrace. It's a nice day for that so far.
